ONA NUA LLC
Effective September 20, 2026
ONA NUA LLC ("we," "us," or "our") provides the Indica cycle-tracking app, the Indica Partner companion app, and the services that support them. This policy explains what information we handle and the choices available to you. Neither app requires an account, email address, or password.
Indica stores the cycle information you enter and, with your permission, reads menstrual-flow history from Apple Health. Period history supports cycle estimates calculated on your device. Raw Health records are not uploaded for us to read, and they are not sent to a server for AI processing. Information you choose to save to Apple Health is handled under your Apple settings.
With your permission, Indica saves the periods, symptoms and moods you log to Apple Health. It does not request read access to temperatures, symptoms, moods, sleep, heart rate, HRV, steps or exercise data. Apple does not disclose read grants to apps. An empty Health response never causes history to be deleted.
Indica stores Health sample identifiers and a synchronization cursor on your phone. An explicit Health deletion removes a Health-only day when no contributing sample remains. Local entries and your import exclusions are preserved. Older imported days without a tracked source remain until you remove them. These synchronization records are deleted with your app data.
Indica Partner keeps the update your partner chose to share so it remains available offline. Indica Partner does not access Apple Health.
Indica sends only the period dates and cycle estimates that the Indica user chooses to share. It does not send notes or the underlying health details. Shared information is end-to-end encrypted, so we and our service provider cannot read it. Either person can disconnect and remove the shared copy.
Optional usage statistics are off by default in both Indica and Indica Partner. Turning them on requires an explicit choice and a separate confirmation that you are 18 or older.
Statistics include screen navigation, foreground duration, onboarding and pairing outcomes, camera and notification permission outcomes, coarse performance timings, and crash counts. Events also include the app version and platform. For each choice, the app creates a random code that connects events from that consent period. Our server stores only its one-way hash and does not store IP addresses.
Statistics exclude cycle entries, notes, Apple Health information, and free text. We do not use statistics for advertising or cross-app tracking.
With statistics on, you can open a voluntary one-question rating from the usage-statistics controls. Only your numeric answer is collected from the rating form. You can withdraw at any time through those controls, which deletes the history we received. Turning statistics on again starts a new history.
If you choose to send a problem report, we receive the message you write and any technical details you choose to include. Reports do not include cycle entries or Apple Health information. Like any online service, our systems also receive limited network information needed to deliver and protect requests.
If you email us, we receive your email address and message. We use launch-update requests to respond with the launch information you requested. The site does not automatically enroll you in a mailing list.
We use information only to operate and secure the apps, deliver encrypted partner updates, understand optional usage statistics, respond to messages and launch-update requests, comply with law, and protect our rights. Cloudflare provides the infrastructure for the public site, encrypted sharing, optional usage statistics, and problem reports; usage-statistics records are kept in a database located in the European Union, while the service that receives them runs on Cloudflare's global network. Apple handles Apple Health and device backups under your settings and its own terms. We do not sell personal information or use health information for advertising.
You can delete the Indica record, withdraw usage statistics (which deletes the history we received), disconnect partner sharing, revoke Apple Health access, or remove the apps. Because there is no account and reports contain no account identifier, we may not be able to locate a particular report after it is sent. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. Contact us to make a request.
We use safeguards designed to protect information, including on-device processing and end-to-end encryption for partner sharing. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Usage statistics require a confirmation that you are at least 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 in violation of applicable law. A parent or guardian who believes a child turned usage statistics on or sent a problem report can contact us.
We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
